In March 2009, I participated in the four-day Toronto Art Expo with 300 other artists. It is Canada’s largest indoor exhibition for fine art and is held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. I displayed about 20 paintings in my booth.
Many of our invitees attended including some very old and dear friends. Lots of visiting and photo taking occurred. Thousands of people attended the show. I had lots of help setting up and taking down from my son-in-law, brother and sister-in-law.
It was a very successful show and thanks to everyone who helped out.

The show takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre:
- Thursday, March 19, 4 to 10 pm, the “Opening Night Gala”
- Friday, March 20, 11 am to 8 pm
- Saturday, March 21, 10 am to 8 pm
- Sunday, March 22, 10 am to 7 pm

I worked with a local Cub troop to teach them about painting. I provided a wide variety of materials and supplies, and some basic instruction. The cubs had a great time making their drawings.
I will be exhibiting new oils at Gallery Perth’s “Spring Fever” Show from April 13 to June 30.
The gallery is at 16 Wilson Street in Perth, Ontario. The vernissage is on April 13 from 2 to 5 pm.
I exhibited three of my large oils at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia, 229 Chapel St., Ottawa from April 4 to 25, 2008.
